VIOLIN WORKSHOP is a unique competition offered to violin students in music schools all over Slovakia – unique because it offers workshops and concerts together with former competition winners.  The fifteen-year history of VIOLIN WORKSHOP has produced some of the most recognized Slovak violinists: Dalibor Karvay (winner of the first competition), Alexej Rosik, Daniel Turcina and Karol Danis.  Guarantor of the competition since 1993 has been the excellent soloist and pedagogue Jindrich Pazdera, who each year brings his personality to performances in the laureates concert arranged by the SKO Zilina.  His close relationship with Zilina and his teachers in the Zilina Conservatory has predetermined this connection.  And since the Arts School of Zilina has not been named for its founder, Ladislav Arvay, VIOLIN WORKSHOP wishes to commemorate and celebrate his work in the musical history of Zilina.

Tickets: 4 Euros
Season Ticket Type B is valid
